Make the Most of Your Lashes

When investing in your eyelashes, it only makes sense that you'd want to get the most out of your purchase and make them last.

Following the Aftercare tips below is the best way to ensure you keep those lashes looking luscious, for longer.

Keep Them Dry

One of the most crucial steps begins once you leave your lash appointment. Keep your lashes dry for the first 24 hours after your appointment.

You must avoid showers, pools, steam rooms, and extreme heat for the first 48 hours following your appointment.

Never use direct, hard water pressure on your lashes.

Brush Daily

Make sure to consistently brush your lashes--gently, and in an 'up and out' motion--with a clean eyelash/mascara brush. Brushing them daily will not only keep them looking smooth, but helps in the removal of debris or particles which may get trapped throughout your day.

Your lash artist will send you home with some brushes for upkeep. Packs of brushes are inexpensive to purchase and available at beauty supply stores and of course, online.

NO Mascara or Curlers

Do NOT use mascara on the eyelash extensions. Mascara has harsh ingredients that can be extremely hard on the eyelash extensions.

Use of mascara also breaks down the bond between the extensions and the natural lash.

Wash Gently

While washing your face, bathing, or showering, make sure to use gentle applications of water and only oil free cleansers.

DO NOT scrub, pick or pull at your lashes. If lashes get stuck together--NEVER pull at your lashes--always have your lash artist assist.

Using a gentle, oil-free eye cleanser and a cleansing brush, wash eyelash extensions every day. Doing so helps to remove excess oils.

Refill

Do Not remove the eyelash extensions on your own. Always schedule an appointment to have the extensions removed professionally.

Schedule a fill appointment every 2 to 4 weeks for optimal results.
